THE NOL-TEC EUROPE HEAVY DUTY CONVEYING

In the steel industry, the Heavy Duty, applications are toug booth for the capacity and for the components used.

Nol-tec Europe applications for this field are:

Coal dust conveying;
Hydrated lime conveying;
Carbon coke recovery;
Blast furnace slag conveying;
Dust und and ashes mixed with reactants recovery.

The foundry is a field in which Nol-tec Europe is know all over the world. Since the early Eighties, there has been an increasing demand for dense phase conveying of foundry sand. Consequently, although the foundry is not known as a technologically advanced field, some important technical innovations has been applied, such as:

Conveying of new sand, already used or regenerated, through clamps of new generation with a consequent reduction in creation of small particles (< 0,03);
The non-purge technology with Air Assist™ has become the stanrd for this field;
Bentonite and black ore conveying, supplying complete systems for the storage, the batching and the conveying to the plants;
Dust collection in the foundry.

Nol-tec Europe has recently constructed collecting and transferring systems for powders/fines to a unique silo, in order to reduce the pollution and the costs of the operators that collect the filter dust. These plants requires the use of the Nol-Tec Minijet™ system.

DENSE PHASE CONVEYING SYSTEM

A pneumatic conveying system in which the gas conveying speed is generally lowed than the minimum maintenance speed of the conveyed product, can be defined as Dense Phase or transfer of controlled slugs of dry powdered or granular materials through enclose convey lines.
